Hate creative writing

They're very vague and random for the most part one was international flight, another was write about a picture of a guy flipping off two swans. I'm at the end of mine, and throughout my three years of having creative writing classes we've done lots of exercises and workshops which actually help your personal writing a lot more.

I will say one thing though, the classes should teach you how to quicken your writing. Am I being graded on everything? You can be taught how to use some techniques, like foreshadowing, but it all comes down to you.

A classroom setting is actually a good way to practice this, as it should be about the same every day. Post not showing up? A solid writing foundation focuses on the step-by-step process from brainstorming to outlining to composing the rough draft and writing the final copy.

Now my writing isn't so long and filled with useless fluff that nobody wants to read. Then they can get to the task at hand and write.

Even as the necessary skills are acquired, writing frustrates many, because it tends to take more time than other subjects. Yes, a variety of writing structures exists, but teach them enough about basic structures so they have something to fall back on when writing anything. I'm a senior in high school now, and I am finally taking a creative writing class. I guess the general consensus is to try to succeed in that class, for many different reasons. I think you should stick out the creative writing class, what I've learned is being given prompts that you may not know about, or something that doesn't interest you makes you a stronger writer, because of course no one wants to write a bad paper, so you do your best to write that essay.
